Dr. Adel Saeed Alobaid graduated from King Saud University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in oral surgery (BDS). Then he obtained a certificate of advanced training in endodontics in 2011 from New York University. After that, he graduated from New York University with a Master of Clinical Research in Dentistry (MSc) & advanced clinical residency training in endodontics in 2013. In 2014, he became a fellow at the Royal College of Dentists in Canada (FRCD).
Dr. Alobaid was hired at the College of Dentistry, King Khalid University, in 2007. He was appointed head of internship training in 2008–2009, then head of the student counseling and advising unit in 2013. He became the restorative department chairman in 2014–2016. Since 2017, he has been acting as the vice dean of academic affairs & development.

She is a faculty member at the College of Dentistry in charge of supervising the educational, academic, research, administrative, and financial process, and is responsible for organizing the work in the college in the female section and conducting its affairs as required by the regulations of the Higher Education Council. The Vice Dean for the female section is appointed from the Saudi faculty members who are distinguished by scientific and administrative competence by a decision of His Excellency the President of the University based on the nomination of the Dean of the College.
- To oversee the implementation of the recommendations of the College Council regarding the female section.
- Coordination with the vice deans of the college to ensure the implementation of plans and the continuous development of the program.
- Propose future plans and development projects for the program.
- Supervising the implementation of the college's strategic plan for the female section.
- Management of Educational, Research, Administrative, Financial, and Cultural Affairs with respect to the female section.
- Coordinating and developing the college's relations inside and outside the university regarding the female section.
- Supervising the provision of all requirements of Education, Research, Administrative and Financial concerning female section.
- Preservation of the College's fixed and movable property.
- Work to improve the mental image of the college.
- Supervising the planning and preparation of the budget of the female section. Work on the development of work in the female section administratively and academically.
- Coordinating and organizing the administrative and organizational relationship with the Dean, Vice Deans and Heads of Departments in their respective fields regarding the female section.
- Submission of periodic reports to the Dean of the College on the functioning of units in the female section.
- Follow-up to the units in the female section.
- Supervision on finances and custodies in the female section in accordance with the regulations.
- Follow up on updating the vice deanship website in an up-to-date manner.
