The Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontic Sciences offers a complete range of specialty services, which include dental management for children and orthodontic treatment needs. Pediatric dentistry is an age-defined specialty that provides both primary and comprehensive, preventive and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. Orthodontics includes assessment, diagnosis, and therapy in relation to the growth and development of the teeth and mandible, as well as innovative treatment approaches and orthodontic ideologies that are in use today. The objective of pedodontics is to provide comprehensive oral healthcare for children and adolescents. Quality and care are provided by dental students under the close supervision of experienced faculty in our dental center.

Mission:
Excel in training students, performing, and supporting advanced research, organizing and conducting broad-based community outreach programs, and providing quality oral health care.
Objectives:
- To produce general dentists and specialists who fulfill national requirements.
- To establish the college as a major center for advanced oral health research
- To promote an effective and broad-based community oral health program
- To provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care in the region
