The Clinical Training Program at King Khalid University College of Dentistry is a non-degree program for dentists who wish to increase their knowledge and experience in various dental specialties. Training consists of high-quality educational activities, practical experience, and observation of clinical patient care provided by specialist consultants in a dental hospital. Trainees will benefit from advanced knowledge and bridge their clinical experience gap. After successful completion of the program, the trainee will receive a certificate of completion of training from the College of Dentistry.
The applicant can apply for a period of at least three months, extendable for six months and a year depending on desire and available seats.

2. Prosthodontics.
3. Endodontics.
4. Orthodontics.
5. Pediatric dentistry.
6. Periodontics.
7. Oral and maxillofacial surgery.
8. Oral medicine/oral pathology.
1. Obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS).
2. Obtaining a valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
3. Obtaining a basic life support (BLS) certificate.
4. The applicant must be fully available during the training period.
- A copy of the national ID card.
- A copy of the Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) and the academic record.
- A copy of the professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Basic life support (BLS) certificate.
- A copy of the Saudi license examination score for professional practice.
A fee of 2000 riyals will be collected for each month, and the fees should be paid for full period that the applicant applied for in one payment.
- Any trainee withdrawing from the program should submit a withdrawal request to the program director during the first week of starting training.
- The program committee evaluate the withdrawal request and the reasons provided by the trainee. Then, recommendations will be presented to the program director for the final decision.
- After the final decision is made, the trainee will be notified of the decision and the percentage of fees that will be returned to the trainee as well. knowing that a portion of the fees will be deducted according to the period that the trainee has spent.
- Final release will be then submitted by the trainee to end his relationship with the program.
- The program does not grant an academic degree and only grants a certificate of completion of training.
- The program will not afforded any clinical privileges and responsibilities, and it will not be accepted as a work experience to apply for a license through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
