A program has been launched with the aim of providing essential dental treatment services to patients with special needs at the Rehabilitation Center in Abha.

The program, operating on a weekly basis every Monday, brings together a dedicated team comprising 8-12 intern doctors and 2 faculty supervisors. Their mission: to extend basic dental treatments, including oral prophylaxis and restorations, to individuals with special needs.

Two faculty members from the Department of Dental Education, Dr. Syed Sadatullah and Dr. Sondos Alghamdi, collaborated with members of the Saudi Society for Medical Education and held a 2-day workshop directed at all healthcare professions at King Khalid University on October 22nd and 23rd, 2023. The workshop titled “Teaching How to Teach and Assessments in Healthcare Education” was held for two days at the administration building at KKU.

The Student Activities Club at the College of Dentistry completes the final of the Baloot Championship event on 13th September, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the College of Dentistry theater.
