The King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and the College of Dentistry, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for a number of Dental Fellowship Programs for the academic year 1448H.
The Department of Dental Education (DDE) at the College of Dentistry at King Khalid University successfully conducted a faculty development workshop titled “From Theory to Practice-Enhancing Student-Centered Learning through Case-Based Learning (CBL).” The workshop, held across five sessions on 31st August, 2nd September, 3rd September, 7th September, and 10th September 2025, was designed to strengthen faculty capacity in adopting CBL as a core strategy in undergraduate dental education.
In a proactive move to promote oral health among the children of King Khalid University (KKU) employees, the KKUCOD organized a dental inspection and topical fluoride application program. The event, held at KKUCOD clinics on the AlFaraa campus, aimed to provide comprehensive oral care for the children of KKU staff.
Invitations were extended to all KKU employees, encouraging their participation in this valuable initiative. A total of 14 faculty members, along with 8 students and 2 intern doctors, actively engaged in the program, ensuring its success.
