Prof. Nabeeh AlQahtani

Prof. Nabeh Al-Qahtani, consultant periodontist and dental implant surgeon, along with Dr. Mukhatar Ahmed Javali and Dr. Mohasin Abdul Khader, has been awarded a patent by the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property for an innovative device that simultaneously measures chronic gum disease and diabetes. The invention, a portable device with a glass capillary tube and a digital display conceptualized in 2016 and developed over two years, aims to ease the burden on diabetic patients during dental visits.
