About Department
The Prosthodontics Department is One of the seven departments of the college, symbolized by the symbol (SDS). Prosthodontics Department is concerned with teaching integrated courses and conducting research in fixed and removable prosthodontic sciences, maxillofacial prosthesis and dental implants in all its preclinical and clinical divisions based on the latest technologies adopted in dentistry. In addition to supervising the teaching of undergraduate courses in prosthodontic sciences, the department oversees the training of resident in the Saudi Specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics program. The department also provides members of the Teaching in the department is treatment services for patients in the speciality college clinics.
Objectives
- Update and develop academic programs in line with accreditation standards.
- Teach students the most advanced patient treatment methods.
- Ensure graduates' competence and preparedness for the labor market.
- Encourage advanced education and scientific research.
- Support scientific research and promote competition locally and internationally.
- Provide comprehensive dental care to a large number of patients.
