The Council of Higher Education officially approved King Khalid University (KKU) on July 9, 1998. Following the recommendation from the KKU Board, the Supreme Council of Higher Education approved on February 4, 2001, to establish the College of Dentistry at King Khalid University.
Located on the Al-Faraa campus amidst the stunning natural landscapes and mountainous regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the college enjoys a picturesque setting with rocky peaks, tourist attractions, and a cloudy atmosphere.
The College of Dentistry comprises six academic departments and offers a range of programs, including an Internship program, Clinical Attachment program, Saudi Board Attachment, and various community service and research initiatives. Over the years, it has created beautiful smiles for thousands of patients.
