Academic Office

The Academic Office (committee) is the principal interactive portal of KKUCOD with its students; it is the entrusted unit for managing one of the most important college fundamentals, such as accepting new students, managing the data of male and female students at the college, as well as supervising academic operations in coordination with the college and various bodies and units.

Before the start of the semester, the academic office ensures that the students are informed about registration procedures, course times and locations, instructors, prerequisites, and requirements.

Duties

The Academic Services Committee is responsible for:

• Students’ academic registration.
• Managing course enrollment.
• Uploading academic and clinical timetables on the academic program of KKU.
• Uploading of the teaching load of faculty members to the academic system in accordance with the academic departments of the college.
• Scheduling and announcing the schedules of final and midterm exams in addition to distributing the invigilation duties equally and in line with the academic rank of faculty members.
• Scheduling and announcing final exam timetables.
• Distribution of students among their academic advisors.
• Monitoring students’ attendance and uploading results.
• Maintaining student records and providing official documents, such as graduation transcripts.
• Updating students’ data and keeping track of academic and administrative policies in collaboration with KKUCOD units and committees.
• Follow-up requests to delete, add, and postpone courses.
• Guiding and advising students and solving issues related to academic achievement.
